Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, popularly known as Vizag, is a coastal port city, often referred as “The Jewel of the East Coast”. It is located on the eastern shore of India nestled among the Eastern Ghats Hill Ranges and facing the Bay of Bengal on the East. The port city with the biggest ship building yard in India, is also the headquarters of the Eastern Naval Command. It has one of the country’s largest ports and its oldest shipyard.
