History of Queensland

A Hot air balloon ride can be thrilling. let us see the history of Queensland first. Queensland was first occupied by Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islanders. The first European to land in Queensland (and Australia) was Dutch navigator Willem Janszoon in 1606, who explored the west coast of the Cape York Peninsula near present-day Weipa. The New South Wales at that time included all of what is now Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania. Queensland was explored in subsequent decades until the establishment of a penal colony at Brisbane in 1824 by John Oxley.  Penal transportation ceased in 1839 and free settlement permitted in 1842.

History of Hot air balloon

The hot air balloon is the oldest successful human-carrying flight technology. It is part of a class of aircraft known as balloon aircraft.  Hot air balloons that can be propelled through the air rather than just being pushed along by the wind are known as airships or, more specifically, thermal airships.   A hot air balloon ride truly is the experience of a lifetime. Allow us to treat you to this sky-high adventure and become one with nature with a romantic balloon ride.

You can Book your Hotel using the following link.

A Hot air balloon consists of a bag called the envelope that is capable of containing heated air.  Suspended beneath is a gondola or wicker basket which carries passengers and a source of heat, in most cases an open flame. The heated air inside the envelope makes it buoyant since it has a lower density than the relatively cold air outside the envelope. As with all aircraft, hot air balloons cannot fly beyond the atmosphere. Unlike gas balloons, the envelope does not have to be sealed at the bottom since the air near the bottom of the envelope is at the same pressure as the air surrounding. For modern sport balloons the envelope is generally made from nylon fabric and the inlet of the balloon is made from fire resistant material such as Nomex. Beginning during the mid-1970s, balloon envelopes have been made in all kinds of shapes, such as rocket ships and the shapes of various commercial products, though the traditional shape remains popular for most non-commercial, and many commercial, applications.

You leave the hotel  Balloon Aloft the  hot-air balloon company around 5.00  and reach where the hot-air balloon laid out in about a 45-minute in a  meadow where four gigantic balloons are laid out. you can watch the industrial fans fill up the cavernous 2,50,000 cubic feet of each balloon with air. The crack of propane igniting in spurts and tongues of yellow-orange flame shatter the silence of dawn as the fire heats up the air inside the balloons.

Then, with their passengers safely inside the big wicker baskets, the balloons start to daintily lift off. The flight coincides with sunrise, and words cannot do justice to the views this creates. This time, the high-rises in the distance are silhouetted by the soft golden light of the rising sun.  Balloon flights usually take place during sunrise or sunset because the air outside needs to be considerably cooler in order to achieve a large differential with the hot air inside the balloon. This provides lift and gets the balloon airborne.
